    Bob Ross

    Bio

    Robert J. Ross currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Inasmuch Foundation. He previously was employed as an attorney with the Oklahoma City law firm McAfee & Taft. He is a graduate of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School and Washington and Lee University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He received his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma. Ross was appointed to the Board of Regents for The University of Oklahoma by Governor Kevin Stitt in March 2022 and is a member of the following boards of directors: Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, Oklahoma City Airport Trust, and Oklahoma State Fair. Bob has received the following awards: 2011 Plaza District Association’s Urban Pioneer Award, 2012 OKC Beautiful Mayor’s Award for Distinguished Service, 2013 Oklahoma Center for Non-Profits’ Visionary Impact Award, 2015 United Way of Central Oklahoma’s John Rex Community Builder Award, 2018 YMCA Service to the Youth Award, 2019 OKC Friday’s OKCityan of the Year, 2023 Boys and Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County Aubrey K. McClendon Lifetime Achievement Award, and the 2023 E.C. Joullian Distinguished Citizen award. Bob is married to Heather Ross and has a daughter, Lilly, and a son, Frank.

    David Griffin

    Bio

    A native of Muskogee and third-generation Oklahoman with more than 30 years’ experience in the media industry, David brings valuable business expertise and expansive knowledge of the state’s media and multimedia landscape to the family-owned Griffin Media. Most importantly, he is dedicated to furthering Griffin’s reputation as Oklahoma’s most reliable, trustworthy and informative media company.

    David’s grandfather and father founded and led what is now Griffin Media and informally introduced him to the world of local television. He formally joined the company in 1990 working in various roles and was promoted to general manager shortly after. After the acquisition of KOTV from Belo in 2000, he became CEO of what is now Griffin Media and Griffin Investments.

    David is dedicated to developing, growing, and investing in Oklahoma. He serves as a board member for numerous nonprofits and industry organizations including the Inasmuch Foundation, the Kirkpatrick Foundation, the Westminster School Board of Trustees, the CBS Affiliate Board and the National Association of Broadcasters. Additionally, he is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and frequently contributes to and supports various charitable causes aimed at cultivating and improving his beloved home state.

    In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family, attending his kids’ football and soccer games, cooking, fly fishing and seeking new adventures.

    Andrew Roff

    President & Co-Founder

    Bio

    Andrew is the president and co-founder of Roff Oil & Gas, Ltd. Roff Oil & Gas is a family-owned energy exploration and development company. Roff Oil & Gas has developed several fields in the northern Midland Basin of Texas, proving up reserves for sale to larger companies. Roff Oil & Gas continues to own properties in the northern Midland Basin and Oklahoma. Andrew is active in all phases of the company’s business and manages its portfolio of private equity investments.

    Prior to founding Roff Oil & Gas with his brother and father, Andrew was vice chairman of PetroUnited Terminals, Inc., a bulk liquid storage company with terminals in Bayport, Texas, and Sunshine, Louisiana. Andrew has also worked as manager of corporate finance for Pennzoil Company and as a metals and foreign exchange trader.

    In addition to his commitment to the Inasmuch Foundation, Andrew is a lifetime board member of the St. Paul’s United Methodist Foundation of Houston and has served on the President’s Council of Wesleyan University. He also sat on the Board of Directors of the Beacon of Downtown Houston, a day shelter that also provides services to aid the homeless in getting permanent housing. The Beacon is a partner in the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County, which has reduced homelessness by more than 50%.

    Andrew has a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Andrew’s favorite pastime is spending time with his wife, Debbie, their five adult children and two sons-in-laws.

    Pat Rooney

    Bio

    Patrick Rooney is from Muskogee, Oklahoma, and is a lifelong community banker. After stints at Bank of Oklahoma, Citizens Bank of Muskogee and Charter National in Oklahoma City, he put together a group of investors to acquire First National Bank of Oklahoma in 2022. Mr. Rooney is currently serving as executive chairman and controlling shareholder of the bank. He also serves as chairman of the Education and Employment Ministry (TEEM), NewView Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Student Loan Authority (OSLA). He is a board member of the Inasmuch Foundation, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), Legatus Oklahoma City and Fortune Club. Other community activities include serving as an advisory board member of Jesus House and a community advisor of MetaFund. Mr. Rooney is a former trustee of OKC MAPS for Kids and the United Way and is a past president and Life Board Member of the Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Rooney has received numerous community service awards. The most notable of these include The Leadership in Transformation award from TEEM, The President’s Award and Community Service Award from The Rotary Club of Oklahoma City, The Distinguished Citizens Award from Last Frontier Council Boy Scouts of America, The Paragon award from Leadership OKC and The Distinguished Service Award from OMRF. Mr. Rooney has a B.A. in English and Economics from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He and his wife, Marianne, have three adult sons, Patrick, Turner and Matthew, and eight grandchildren.

    Jill Tiefenthaler

    Bio

    As chief executive officer at the National Geographic Society, Dr. Jill Tiefenthaler oversees the development and implementation of the Society’s mission-driven work and programmatic agenda. She leads the Society’s global community of Explorers: scientists, innovators, educators, and storytellers—in their mission to illuminate and protect the wonder of our world. Jill sits on the Society’s Board of Trustees and the board of National Geographic Partners.

    Before joining the National Geographic Society, Jill spent nine years as the president of Colorado College. During this time, she helped set a new direction for the school, executed the most ambitious fundraising campaign in the college’s history, and developed and implemented a comprehensive strategic plan that expanded and cultivated an engaged and globally connected academic community. She developed a Campus Master Plan, executed an alliance to make the world-class Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center part of the college, and led the college’s efforts to achieve carbon neutrality. She also drove significant increases in diversity among the faculty and student body and led the campus community in an external review of racism at the college that resulted in an Antiracism Implementation Plan.
